Here’s our main character. At least to start with. Surreal Orange is definitely going to be written as an ensemble cast kinda thing. Different episodes will focus on different characters but Lucy is where it all starts. No point in being shy about it- She’s the bridge character. The only one from our Earth- as far as we know anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She’s an open and bold punk-rock girl but with a heart of gold and she’s us. I always intended this as a fish out of water story but since the pandemic and the subsequent wave of change we’ve all been thrown into I’m sure her situation will speak to us. Lost and alone in a crazy world where nothing makes sense. She’s us. But unlike most fish out of water stories her question isn’t how to get home- its whether or not she wants to. What will she make of this new world she’s encountered. Sometimes change is a good thing, but… home. Torn and undecided but not above having a good time while she figures it all out. I mean- why not? When in Thorn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
