Wandering through the aftermath…
This basically started off as an excuse to paint that skull. I picked it up in an antique shop in Ellicott City and just had to paint it, but it turned into something much more. I love the idea of walking through some burned out factory and coming across this skull that someone has put there for some unknown reason. Thats freaky enough already but then you notice it has a friend- a floating crystal ball always nearby. And you begin to wonder- Is it just a skull? Is it watching you?

In the beginning: Fantasy Paintings

This is where it all started for me. When I went to college my goal was to become a fantasy book cover painter. That was actually a real job once and I love doing it but as time went on my tastes shifted more towards the surreal.
